Abbey Lossing is an American illustrator, animator, and designer known for her distinctive style that combines bold colors, patterns, and textures. She has worked with a variety of clients in the editorial and commercial sectors, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, Google, Adobe, and Vogue. Lossing's illustrations often feature diverse characters and explore themes of identity, culture, and social issues. She has also created animated content for various platforms, including short films and GIFs. Lossing graduated from the Pratt Institute with a degree in Communications Design and began her career as a staff illustrator at BuzzFeed. She later worked as an in-house illustrator at Vice News before becoming a freelance artist. Her work has been recognized by the Society of Illustrators and American Illustration.
