Alberto Campo Baeza is a Spanish architect born in Valladolid in 1946. He studied at the Technical School of Architecture of Madrid (ETSAM) where he graduated in 1971. After completing his studies, he worked with the architect Miguel Fisac and later with Alejandro de la Sota. In 1986, he established his own studio in Madrid. Campo Baeza is known for his minimalist and conceptual approach to architecture, often using light as a central element in his designs. His works are characterized by their simplicity, purity of form, and the use of white as a predominant color.

Some of his notable projects include the Caja Granada Savings Bank in Granada, the Gaspar House in Cádiz, and the Museum of Memory of Andalusia in Granada. Campo Baeza has received numerous awards for his work, including the Heinrich Tessenow Gold Medal in 2004, the Arnold W. Brunner Memorial Prize in 2013, and the International Prize for Sacred Architecture in 2015. He has also held teaching positions at various institutions, including the ETSAM, where he has been a professor since 1986, and as a visiting professor at prestigious universities such as the ETH Zurich and the EPFL Lausanne. Campo Baeza's work has been exhibited internationally and he has published several books on architecture.
