Alex Hirsch
American artist
Alex Hirsch is an American animator, writer, and voice actor best known for creating the critically acclaimed animated television series "Gravity Falls," which aired on Disney Channel and Disney XD from 2012 to 2016. Born in Piedmont, California, in 1985, Hirsch attended the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) where he honed his skills in animation and storytelling. Before "Gravity Falls," he worked on various other shows, including "The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack" and "Fish Hooks."
Hirsch's work is characterized by its clever writing, intricate plots, and multi-dimensional characters. "Gravity Falls," in particular, gained a cult following for its blend of humor, mystery, and supernatural elements, all wrapped in a family-friendly format.
