Russian painter
André Kohn is a contemporary Russian-American figurative artist known for his unique style that blends Impressionistic techniques with a modern sensibility. Born in Stalingrad, Russia, Kohn was exposed to art at an early age through his father, a prominent graphic designer. He later attended the St. Petersburg Academy of Art, one of Russia's premier art schools, before immigrating to the United States. Kohn's work primarily focuses on the human form, capturing the subtleties of gesture and emotion with a keen eye for detail and a rich, nuanced color palette.
Kohn's art is characterized by its emphasis on capturing the essence of the human experience, often featuring subjects in candid or intimate moments.
