Chiho Aoshima
Japanese contemporary artist and illustrator
Chiho Aoshima is a Japanese visual artist associated with the Superflat movement, which was founded by Takashi Murakami. Her work often features surreal and dreamlike landscapes populated by ethereal female figures and fantastical creatures. Aoshima employs digital techniques to create her intricate and vibrant compositions, which have been exhibited internationally. Notable works include City Glow and Rebirth and the Cosmos, and she has participated in exhibitions at prestigious institutions such as the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tokyo and the Seattle Art Museum.
