Chuck Jones
American animator and cartoonist
Chuck Jones was an American illustrator, cartoonist, and animator renowned for his work with Warner Bros. Cartoons. He directed numerous classic animated shorts featuring iconic characters such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Porky Pig. Among his most celebrated works are What's Opera, Doc?, Duck Amuck, and One Froggy Evening. Jones also played a pivotal role in the creation of the Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote series. In addition to his work at Warner Bros., he contributed to the animation of How the Grinch Stole Christmas! and The Dot and the Line. His career spanned over six decades, during which he received multiple awards, including an Academy Award for the short film The Dot and the Line.
