Danny Clinch
American music photographer
Danny Clinch is an American photographer known for his work in portrait and documentary photography, particularly within the music industry. He has captured iconic images of musicians such as Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, and Tupac Shakur. Clinch's work is characterized by its raw and intimate portrayal of his subjects, often in black and white. His photographs have been featured in major publications including Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, and The New York Times Magazine. In addition to his still photography, Clinch has directed music videos and documentaries, including Immagine in Cornice for Pearl Jam and Let's Play Two, a film about Eddie Vedder and the Chicago Cubs. He is also a co-founder of the Turtle Studios in New York City, a space dedicated to the intersection of music and visual arts.
