David Aja
Spanish comic book artist
David Aja is a Spanish illustrator and comic book artist known for his distinctive, minimalist style and effective use of negative space. He gained prominence through his work with Marvel Comics, particularly for his collaboration with writer Matt Fraction on the critically acclaimed series Hawkeye, which ran from 2012 to 2015. Aja's art in Hawkeye was noted for its innovative panel layouts and clear, expressive storytelling. He has also contributed to other notable series such as The Immortal Iron Fist and The Seeds. Aja's work has earned him multiple Eisner Awards, including Best Penciller/Inker and Best Cover Artist, solidifying his reputation within the comic book industry.
