Ed Hardy is an American fashion designer and tattoo artist known for his eponymous clothing line, which incorporates tattoo art into fashion. He studied at the San Francisco Art Institute and later apprenticed under renowned tattoo artist Sailor Jerry Collins. Hardy's designs often feature bold, colorful imagery such as skulls, roses, and tigers, drawing heavily from traditional American tattoo aesthetics. His brand gained significant popularity in the early 2000s, particularly among celebrities.
