Lauren Faust is an American animator, writer, and producer who is known for her work on animated television shows and movies. She is best known for creating the popular animated series "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic," which aired on the Discovery Family network from 2010 to 2019. Faust began her career in the animation industry in the late 1990s, working as a writer and storyboard artist on a number of shows, including "The Powerpuff Girls" and "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends." In addition to her work as a creator and showrunner, Faust is also known for her contributions to the development of strong, well-rounded female characters in animated media. She has received numerous accolades for her work, and is widely respected within the animation industry.
