To highlight the style's strenghts and features, we run each SREF code through a set of 16 standardized prompts—Midlibrary Benchmark. Each prompt demonstrates how the SREF ”behaves“ in various domains of visual art/applications.
Lomography is a style of photography that emerged in the early 1990s, characterized by its use of low-fidelity cameras and film to create vibrant, experimental images. It emphasizes spontaneity, creativity, and the embrace of imperfections such as light leaks and vignetting. Originating from the use of LOMO LC-A cameras, Lomography has grown into a cultural movement that celebrates analog photography.
Lomography's Midjourney style representation captures the essence of this analog aesthetic through digital means. The images are marked by dreamy, surreal qualities with vivid, saturated colors and a cinematic feel. Techniques such as double exposure and light leaks are prominent, creating a whimsical and nostalgic atmosphere. The compositions often feature dynamic angles and blurred motion, enhancing the expressive and retro vibe.
