Jacques Villon, also known by his artistic alias Marcel Duchamp, was a French artist known for his contributions to the Dada and Surrealist movements. Villon was a versatile artist who worked in various media, including drawing, printmaking, and sculpture. He is perhaps most famous for his readymades, in which he took ordinary objects and presented them as works of art.
