Japanese anime series based on manga

Mob Psycho 100 is a Japanese anime series adapted from the manga by ONE, also known for One Punch Man. Serialized in Ura Sunday from April 2012 to December 2017, it was compiled into 16 tankōbon volumes. The anime, produced by Bones, aired in 2016, 2019, and 2022.

The story follows Shigeo Kageyama, a middle schooler with immense psychic powers, nicknamed "Mob." Despite his abilities, Mob desires a normal life and works part-time for Reigen Arataka, a self-proclaimed spirit medium who exploits Mob's powers while guiding him.

Mob Psycho 100 is noted for its unique art style, mirroring ONE's simplistic manga illustrations, and its dynamic animation, especially during psychic battles. The series explores themes of self-acceptance, power, and human connection, focusing on Mob's emotional growth and relationships.
