Anita Jeram is a British illustrator and children's book author, best known for her work in Guess How Much I Love You, a picture book written by Sam McBratney. Born in 1965 in Portsmouth, England, Jeram has illustrated numerous books for children, often featuring animals as the main characters. Her illustrations are characterized by their delicate and detailed depiction of the natural world, as well as their ability to convey emotion and humor.

Jeram's career as an illustrator began after she attended Manchester Polytechnic, where she studied illustration and received a degree in graphic design. Her collaboration with McBratney on Guess How Much I Love You has brought her international acclaim, with the book selling over 43 million copies worldwide and being translated into 57 languages. The book's success has led to a series of sequels and related merchandise.
