Becky Cloonan
American comic book writer
Becky Cloonan is an American comic book artist and writer, known for her versatile style and contributions to both mainstream and independent comics. Born in 1980 in Pisa, Italy, she moved to the United States at a young age and later attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Cloonan gained prominence as the first female artist to draw the main Batman title for DC Comics, and she has also worked on a variety of other projects, including "Conan the Barbarian" for Dark Horse Comics and her own creator-owned series like "By Chance or Providence."
