Clay animation technique
To highlight the style's strenghts and features, we run each SREF code through a set of 16 standardized prompts—Midlibrary Benchmark. Each prompt demonstrates how the SREF ”behaves“ in various domains of visual art/applications.

This technique involves meticulously moving and photographing the clay models frame by frame to create the illusion of movement. It has been popularized by films and television shows, offering a unique, tactile visual experience that stands apart from traditional animation.
Claymation's Midjourney style representation captures a whimsical and surreal aesthetic, characterized by vivid and contrasting colors. The style emphasizes exaggerated features and expressive faces, often with large eyes, creating a humorous and imaginative atmosphere. The compositions focus on character-centric narratives, with detailed backgrounds and dynamic poses, reflecting a handcrafted and textured appearance.
