Eleanor Antin
American conceptual artist
Eleanor Antin is an American artist known for her pioneering work in conceptual art, performance art, and installation art. Her practice often explores themes of identity, gender, and history through a variety of media, including photography, video, and sculpture. Notable works include 100 Boots, a series of black-and-white photographs depicting rubber boots in various locations, and The King of Solana Beach, a performance piece where Antin adopts the persona of a deposed monarch.
