Elie Saab is a Lebanese fashion designer known for his intricate and luxurious haute couture creations. He founded his eponymous label in 1982 in Beirut, initially focusing on bridal couture before expanding into ready-to-wear and accessories. Saab's designs are characterized by their elaborate embroidery, use of fine materials such as silk and lace, and a strong emphasis on femininity and elegance.
