She is primarily associated with the Pennsylvania Impressionist movement, also known as the New Hope School. Her notable works include Winter Harmony, The Back Road to Pipersville, and Snow Covered Hills. She exhibited her work at institutions such as the Corcoran Gallery of Art, the National Academy of Design, and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Coppedge's contributions to American art are preserved in collections at the Michener Art Museum and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.
